The Best Lab-Grown Diamonds

Lab-grown diamonds are the latest frontier in the world of sustainable jewellery. Set to reach a market value of 29.2bn USD by 2025, lab-grown diamonds promise to mitigate concern regarding the environmental and ethical impact surrounding the traditional diamond industry.

Lab-grown diamonds, as the name suggests, are grown in a laboratory using cutting-edge technology to replicate the natural process of unearthed diamonds. The result? A genuine diamond with the same look, feel and chemical composition as its mined counterpart.

Mined diamonds have an immense impact on the environment, requiring between 88,000 to 176,000 pounds of dirt to be excavated for a single 1-carat diamond. Conversely, lab-grown diamonds often take less than a month to grow and can cost up to 40% less than traditional mined diamonds of the same quality.

Here is our round up of the best lab-grown diamonds.
